Sweet Home does not start on my new Mac

Hi,
After changing to a new Mac (MacOS 10.13.5) I wanted to install Sweet Home 3D again on this machine. But for some reason it does not start anymore. I tried version 5.7.

I have Java 8.1 installed. However Sweet Home does not start without any error message.

Can you help, please? [:(]

The DMG installer version requires Apple Java 6.
If you want to run Sweet Home 3D with Java 8, you'll have to use the Java Web Start version or the JAR executable version.

I'm on macOS 10.13.5. Java 10.0.1 installed. Online version not running even when allowed in safari's plugins preferences. Java Web Start version or the JAR executable version are not working either. Any advice?

Install Java 8 rather than Java 10.

Hi,

I have macbook pro with IOS 10.7.5 version and I used Sweet Home 3D application on a project this spring. Everything worked fine until today when I uploaded Sweet Home 3D update (version 5.4.2). Suddenty the app won't open at all.

I downloaded the latest Java 8, restacted mac, uninstalled and installed again SH3D but nothing helped. I really need this to work because I need to finish a project for a client by end of this week and I am stuck here.

Can you please help?

The latest version available on the Mac App Store is 5.7.2 but can only run under Mac OS X 10.8.3 and higher.
Oracle Java 8 isn't supported under Mac OS X 10.7.5. But you can use the free version 5.7 available at Download page which runs with Apple Java 6.
