Feature request - Add and remove points in polylines

Please is is possible to implement a feature to add and remove points in polylines?
Even just a feature to delete points would be helpful if it is too difficult to add points as well.

Dorin pointed out that with the Advanced Edit plugin you CAN edit the points of a polyline. He explained it in this post.
