bug/setting with PM overview

The forum allows to send PM messages to other users. No problem there but when I view the list of PM's under My Profile I only see PM's that I received. The PM's I sent are received by the user I send it to but I can't see them in the PM list and so I can no longer see what I have send.

The messages you send are visible in the Sent folder only if you select the check box I would like add a copy of this message to my Sent items folder, available at the bottom of the new PM form.

I didn't notice I needed to check that, my fault. I would be better if it was checked by default.
Any chance I can get the already sent messages to show?
