Does anyone know of any models of things like water heaters or utility sinks or other types of things like that?

Did you try searching the 3D warehouse for e.g. water heater or utility sink? Download as .kmz/.dae and import to SH3D. Also, sent you the sink from thread 5544 in case that can be of use.

BTW: I noticed the Warehouse has updated its Terms of Service .

There are some water heaters available on sweethome3d.com too.
