orientation of walls

Dears,

we downloaded Sweet Home 3D for a project a few days ago. It's a great tool and quite easy and focussed for our demand.

Only 1 thing, where I do not find a solution: Is it possibe to fix a wall with a certain thickness at and then set thickness?

Let's say a 3m long vertical wall starts at (0,0) with a thickness of 30, then currently the left ends at (-15,300) and the right side at (15,300). The issue with this in a complex drawing with different wall sizes the measurements are quite complicated if you mix draw from a drawing and measure. You allways need to consider wall thickness in the drawings.

Is there a possibility to fix the wall orientation not to the middle of the wall but to an edge?

No, walls are always drawn with the coordinates defining the middle of start and end point
