How to delete a room?

I created a room (surface) in my home but i can't select it to delete it. when i trie to select the surface, my walls are selected. i tried with the TAB button but that don't work.

Do you have the same problem like this?. [:-?]
Then use the unlock button(Ctrl+Alt+L ) on top left corner in 2D plan drawing window.
Choose Edit-> Select all/Select all at all levels then by hold shift and click on objects(like compass,particular wall or furniture) to toggle selection. Then press Delete button to delete those that you don't want.
Else please give more explanation or can you attach your work file.? [:>]

hello , my problem was not the locking of objects. after that i tried the "select all" and then "shift and select" option but that doesn't work.
my problem is that i can't select a surface that is INSIDE a room. when i trie to select it is always the wall of the room that is selected.
how do i attach my workfile (sh3d) in this reply?

PS: Are you sure the room is not selected when you click it (with the Select 'pointer')? Maybe it just looks as if walls are selected because of the (blue) select colour along the edges, while you really have selected the room.

By default there is no selectable floor, you need to draw a floor using Create rooms tool. Later by modify rooms section apply the texture.

How do i attach my workfile (sh3d) in this reply?.

Follow the instructions by hansmex to attach a file.

After a time of holiday in Copenhagen [B-)] i tried again to select my surface and there it was!!! [:p] The upload via mediafire didn't work but i managed to create a picture to show what's happening:
i tried to select the surface of 1,24m² by clicking in it, but it was always the big room (walls) that was selected. Now i tried to select with a right mouseclick but that didn't worked when i pointed the mouse in the room somewhere. Finally i pointed the mouse in the surface of 1,24m² and now i could select between different surfaces!. See my picture to know what i mean because i am dutch and my english is not super... [:(]

1. I reproduce your issue.
I suppose you draw first the smaller rooms and then the largest room on top of the other two. In this case you will can select only the big one.
If you need such surfaces draw it order from the larger to smaller to be able select them individually.
2. The tutorial for posting file trow mediafire.com must be updated because ther is few diferent steeps.

I think Dorin is right
The smaller room/floor is lowwer. So you can't slect it.
Drag select wall, room/floor, furniture.. which including small room.
Holding keyboard Shift+click the wall and other(not small room) to deselect from selection.
